My good friend, who happens to be my photographer, and I were on the way to go get sushi for a lunch date. We came across these beautiful fields of flowers/weeds, which ever you prefer and decided we had to take pictures. Luckily, I was wearing something decent for a blog post!
I don't think people realize that so many of the pieces that I wear in my blog or just in every day life are pieces that I've acquired over years. It takes years to build a good wardrobe. Just like many things in life, it doesn't happen overnight. The key to it is buying good basic pieces that fit well or pieces that will forever be in style so that you can reuse them over and over again as each season passes.
I bought the shirt I'm wearing from H&M my freshman year in college which was way too long ago, no okay, it was around six years ago (wtaf). The vest that used to be a jean jacket from American Eagle, I got in high school my freshman year, which was OMG ten years ago! My jeans that used to be denim color, from Express, that I bleached last summer. I purchased them my sophomore year of college, you do the math. So there you have it! Things do not have to be bought every single season. My shoes are the only thing that is "new" in this post. I bought them around two months ago at an Italian store called Scarpe & Scarpe (which means shoes and shoes).
Denim on denim is still a huge trend, but now that we are transitioning into Spring/Summer, its more white or light colored denim. I did a post on Denim on Denim back when I first started my blog. You can find it here. Have a great weekend beautifuls!
