Although there isn't much fashion in this post, I'd thought I'd share some photos of my day in Salzburg, Austria. A friends mom was visiting and now is the time for Christmas Markets in Europe, so we thought it would be a perfect day. Wellllll, it was a great day, but the rain and cold had us semi miserable by the time we came home. I got almost all of the (grand)moms done for Christmas presents too. Amen to that. I hate stressing over gifts when that's not what this time of year is even supposed to be about.
One thing I DEFINITELY noticed was the difference between Italian fashion and German/Austrian fashion. There were so many Trachtenmode stores, which are the dirndls and lederhosen traditional outfits known to that area. It was fun window shopping and getting to see different inspirations, too bad I didn't catch any of that on camera. All and all it was a wonderful day. It was filled with Christmas spirit, a few beers, spiced warm wine and, of course, pretzels. I hopefully can go to a few more these up coming weeks.
Tons and tons of handmade ornaments..
Me (bundled up) on the famous "Getreidegasse" with the old metal signs above each store front. I was standing next to Louis Vuitton, of course.
