Soooooo when I went to Style.com to check out the latest shows (AKA MK), my heart literally melted all over the floor when I saw Michael's first designs. Ugh, He is such a genius. I see so many designers this season straying far, far away from black. From the looks of it, it's a lot of rich colors, browns, greys and jewel tones. I cannot wait to put layer on top of layer of beautiful colors and textures in the fall. Also, what's up with the thick knits or even (faux) furs with open toed shoes all over the runways?
So many people don't understand why they show Fall clothing, when it's BARELY (and I mean barely if you live in the Northeast of the US) reaching spring at this point. Well, they show fall so that retailers or the places that YOU shop at are prepared by the time Fall does come around. Makes sense now doesn't it?
In this post I'll be showing you some of Michael Kors, Victoria Beckham and DKNY by Donna Karen. There is so many more I'll be showing you throughout the week, I promise. Pinky.
Michael Kors
This definitely wasn't my favorite fall collection by him (I mean F/W 13, c'mon), but the richness, the coolness, and the effortless looks he's got going on, thumbs up. Great prints, and lines. He knows how to make a woman's body look awesome and that's the most important part of being a women's designer.

Victoria Beckham
Oh Posh, when will you ever NOT be chic? I think she is so amazing because she is so simple. She just gets what it takes. Look at these four dresses below me. Nothing screams elegant and classy like her designs. She doesn't over think it or over do ANYTHING. She's perfect. She's Posh. I wonder if she still wears her little Gucci Dress now that she's been designing her own?

DKNY by Donna Karen
DKNY will always make me think city. She's uptown, but she's downtown. She's all over the place, but in a good way. In a, "I wanna follow her to see what cool thing she is doing next." kind of way. Baseball hat? Such a cool way to play up the city chic way. It is the epitome of New York style. Except of course, it needs more black. Duh.
